Flames engulf field and forest: 10 houses evacuated
A fire that broke out in a harvested wheat field in the Süleymanpaşa district of Tekirdağ spread to a wooded area due to the wind. 10 houses were evacuated as a precaution.
A fire that started in a harvested wheat field in the Bıyıkali neighborhood of the Süleymanpaşa district grew rapidly and reached the surrounding forest area.
Upon notification, fire department, Forestry Directorate, gendarmerie, and medical teams were dispatched to the region.
As the fire approached residential areas in the neighborhood, 10 houses were evacuated as a precaution. The fire was brought under control after approximately 1 hour of intensive intervention, while 150 decares of agricultural land and wooded area were damaged.
