Foreign object enters radar, Turkish Air Force on alert
A foreign object that appeared on radar in Kastamonu and subsequently disappeared has mobilized gendarmerie and AFAD teams. In the incident, which also put the Turkish Air Force on alert, teams conducted searches using thermal drones to locate the object in the forested area where it vanished from radar.
An unidentified foreign object appeared on radar in Kastamonu during the evening hours.
After a short time, the unidentified foreign object disappeared from the radar. A search operation was launched in the forested area of the countryside near Kırışoğlu village, which is connected to the Kastamonu city center, where the foreign object vanished from the radar.

In the incident, which also put the Turkish Air Force on alert, the Kastamonu Provincial Gendarmerie Command, the Provincial Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the Gendarmerie Search and Rescue (JAK), and commando units are conducting search activities to find the unidentified foreign object that disappeared from the radar. While AFAD teams are carrying out search efforts with thermal-equipped drones, no trace of the foreign object has been found so far.

As teams continue their search efforts, no information has been gathered regarding the foreign object that entered the radar.
