Forest fire in Bilecik negatively affects high-speed train services
A forest fire ongoing in the Osmaneli district of Bilecik has negatively affected Istanbul-Ankara high-speed train services.
In a statement made by TCDD Taşımacılık, it was stated that, "Due to the fire occurring between the Bilecik-Osmaneli stations posing a danger to the High-Speed Train (YHT) railway line, YHT services departing from Istanbul and Ankara at 19.30, arriving in Ankara and Istanbul respectively, are being held for route inspection.
For this reason, there will be delays in our trains. Efforts to make the railway line safe are being meticulously carried out by authorized teams."
