Forest fire started while roasting eggplants
An individual who started a forest fire while roasting eggplants in the Talas district of Kayseri has been apprehended by police teams.
According to the information obtained, a fire broke out in the forest in the Çaybağları area of the district, allegedly caused by an unidentified person or persons roasting eggplants. As the flames spread due to the wind, fire crews were dispatched to the region. TOMA vehicles belonging to the Provincial Security Directorate also joined the firefighting efforts as reinforcements, while teams made intense efforts to prevent the flames from reaching nearby villas.

During the operations carried out by the teams, the fire was extinguished. Following an investigation into the incident, teams from the Talas Crime Prevention and Investigation Bureau of the Kayseri Provincial Security Directorate's Talas District Security Directorate conducted field work and camera reviews. The investigation determined that the incident was caused by A.E. (47). Police teams apprehended and detained A.E.
Judicial proceedings have been initiated against A.E.
