Four children threw a bottle they prepared with hydrochloric acid into a coffeehouse

The incident occurred yesterday around 15:00 at a coffeehouse located in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood of Küçükçekmece.

According to the information obtained, a group of children threw a bottle they had prepared with sparklers, aluminum foil, and hydrochloric acid into the coffeehouse for reasons yet unknown.

In the incident where the children attempted to cause damage to the coffeehouse, an individual named G.A. was injured. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Following the initial intervention by medical teams, the injured person was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

While it was learned that the injured person's life is not in danger, police investigations determined that those who fled the scene after throwing the sparklers and harmful substances were Y.D. (14), Ö.K. (16), Ö.B. (15), and M.E.P. (15).

The identified suspects were apprehended and taken into custody. It was reported that the processing of the apprehended suspects at the police station is ongoing.
