'Gaspçı Hüseyin', known for the phrase 'Ask my uncle', files lawsuit against his impersonator
Hüseyin Taşkıran, who became famous with the phrase 'Ask my uncle', said, "A kid has appeared. He is clout-chasing using me. He went on a pilgrimage and is sharing videos where he combines my photos with his own, claiming 'I realized my dream of pilgrimage'. He is making money through lies and deception; he is a fraud. He is scamming people. I will file a lawsuit for material and moral damages. I am the real 'Gaspçı Hüseyin', ask my uncle."
Hüseyin Taşkıran (27) from Adana, known for the phrase "I went on pilgrimage 4 times, ask my uncle," learned while he was in prison that someone else was impersonating him and making money.
Stating that Yahya Karataş, nicknamed 'Yaso', whose videos on social media accounts have millions of views, has been impersonating him and making money, Taşkıran stated that he would file a lawsuit for material and moral damages and file a complaint against the individual. Noting that he has been in prison since 2015, Taşkıran said that the person named Yahya Karataş, who has reached hundreds of thousands of followers on social media accounts, became famous by taking his place in the pilgrimage videos he shot.
Explaining that he became aware that another person was acting like him after news reports about his pilgrimage were published in various social media and media outlets, Taşkıran said, "I am the real 'Gaspçı Hüseyin', ask my uncle."

Explaining that he learned about the person who was making money by impersonating him while he was in prison, Hüseyin Taşkıran said, "Being famous is a good thing. I am calling out to my fans from here. A kid has appeared. His name is Yahya Karataş. He is clout-chasing using me.

I am calling out to my fans from here, they should not believe this fraud. I am also calling out to the person who introduces himself as 'Yaso'. I will file a lawsuit for material and moral damages," he said.
"I CAME OUT ON LEAVE FOR 11 DAYS"
Stating that he is excitedly waiting to complete his sentence at the penal institution in Niğde, Taşkıran said, "I came out on leave for 11 days. When my sentence is completely finished and I get out, I will make new sketches. I am calling out to my fans from here, I hope they follow me. If God wills it and I get out, I will truly realize my dream of pilgrimage," he said.
