Girl who left home saying 'I'm going to school' is missing

15-year-old Yüsra Yavuz, who lives in the Çınar neighborhood of Bağcılar, left her home at around 08:00 on Monday, September 23, to go to school. The family, who has not heard from their daughter since then, went to the police and filed a missing person report. The family fears for the life of their daughter, whom they have not heard from for 15 days.

Speaking about the matter, Yüsra's father, İsmail Yavuz, said, “She left home yesterday morning saying she was going to school. The distance between the school and our home is about 10 minutes anyway, and we haven't heard from her since. We learned that she spoke with her cousin on the phone around noon.

She didn't go to school, telling her cousin, 'I'm sick today, I won't be able to come to school.' Her cousin told her mother about this at noon, and she relayed the situation to my wife. That is how we became aware of it. The matter has been completely turned over to the police, and the process is continuing in this way.

My daughter is a very introverted child; she constantly spends time on the computer. We learned from her cousin that she met a boy in a computer game she plays. We suspect that our daughter may have gone with this boy she met.
