Groom in intensive care, bride's family stabbed and beaten
A dispute between the families of a bride and groom in Bursa has escalated into a feud. Relatives of the groom, who was admitted to intensive care 2 days ago, raided the home of the bride's family. In the incident, 1 person was injured by a knife and 1 person was injured by assault.
The incident occurred on Başak Street in the Emek neighborhood of the central Osmangazi district.
According to allegations, a disagreement that began 2 days ago between the bride and the groom, Şahin Ö., spread to their families.
The bride's family, getting involved in the matter, wanted to take their daughter back from the groom.
THEY RAIDED THE IN-LAWS' HOUSE
However, when the groom tried to stop them, the bride's family beat the groom 2 days ago, leaving him in intensive care. Following this, the groom's family raided the home of their in-laws who had beaten their son.
The angry family, who smashed windows with iron bars and clubs, assaulted Gökhan T. and his cousin Hakan T. when they came to the door.
Gökhan T., who was wounded with a knife, and his cousin Hasan T. were transported to Bursa City Hospital by ambulance, while a large number of police officers were dispatched to the scene.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
