He broke the patrol car's mirror and punched a police officer
In the Buca district of İzmir, a driver who made a dangerous U-turn first insulted the police officers who stopped him, then broke the mirror of the patrol car and punched an officer. The moments were captured on a mobile phone camera, and the suspect was taken into custody by the teams.
The incident occurred around 11:30 in the Buca district. According to allegations, the driver of the vehicle with license plate 03 AET 894, identified as G.T., made a dangerous U-turn on Menderes Street and Koşuyolu Street.
Upon noticing the situation, police teams stopped the driver. After a while, the individual, who began verbally insulting the police, first broke the mirror of the police vehicle and then punched a police officer.
The teams used pepper spray to bring the individual under control.
While those moments were captured on a mobile phone camera, G.T., who was taken into custody by the teams, was taken to the police station to give a statement after a health check.
It was learned that G.T. would be referred to the courthouse under police escort following the statement procedures.
