According to the information obtained, an argument broke out for an unknown reason between father Süleyman Dirik and his son A.D., who lived on the ground floor of an 8-story building on Battalgazi Boulevard in the Selçuklu neighborhood of the district.
As the argument escalated, A.D. stabbed his father, Süleyman Dirik, killing him. Following the incident, A.D. attempted suicide by ingesting medication. Upon notification, numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
While police teams took extensive security measures in the vicinity, medical teams determined during their initial intervention that Süleyman Dirik had lost his life.
The suspect, the son A.D., was taken to the hospital by ambulance under police escort following initial intervention at the residence.
After investigations were conducted at the residence, the lifeless body of Süleyman Dirik was taken to the Council of Forensic Medicine Kayseri Group Presidency for an autopsy.
An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
