He had clung to life thanks to a doctor's CPR on a stretcher, but sad news has arrived

According to the information obtained, 53-year-old Abdullah Aktiz was severely injured after being struck by a car while attempting to cross the road in front of a private hospital on Mudanya Road last night. Medical teams intervened immediately to assist the injured citizen.

A female doctor from the hospital's emergency department arrived at the scene and began performing CPR on Abdullah Aktiz, whose heart had stopped. The heroic doctor climbed onto the stretcher herself while the patient was being loaded to ensure she did not interrupt the chest compressions.

Continuing the CPR without getting off the stretcher as medical personnel transported him to the hospital, the doctor was instrumental in restarting the heart of the injured man, which had stopped.

Despite all interventions at the hospital, Aktiz, who had been admitted to the intensive care unit, could not be saved. It was learned that the driver of the car with license plate 16 TAM 49, identified as M.M.D., who struck Abdullah Aktiz, was taken to the police station to provide a statement.
