He intended to shoot his rival, but accidentally shot 3 others

The incident occurred in front of the Şemaki Mosque in the Yenişehir district. While rice was being distributed to citizens in front of the mosque following Friday prayers, an individual identified as A.A. (23) encountered his rival in the middle of the crowd.

A.A., who pulled a gun from his waistband and fired repeatedly, wounded his target, Ali Osman T. However, as a result of the gunfire, 3 other people named Burhan M., Sadık Ç., and Hamdi Ü. were also struck by bullets.

The area turned into a scene of chaos following the sound of gunfire, and the wounded were taken to hospitals by medical teams that arrived at the scene upon reports from bystanders. The attacker, who fled after the incident, was captured in İznik through the joint efforts of the Bursa Public Security Branch Directorate and the İznik District Police Department.

The suspect was taken into custody along with the handgun used in the incident and brought to the police station. While the treatment of the wounded continues in the hospital, a comprehensive investigation into the incident has been launched.
