In the Kulu district of Konya, a man wounded his wife and killed his 5-year-old daughter with a pump-action shotgun.
According to the information received, an argument broke out between M.Ö. (31) and his wife S.Ö. in the Kemaliye neighborhood.
During the incident, which escalated into a fight, M.Ö. opened fire with a pump-action shotgun, wounding the couple's 5-year-old daughter, D.Ö., and the mother, S.Ö.
Following the initial intervention by 112 Emergency Health teams who arrived at the scene upon notification, the wounded mother and daughter were taken to Kulu Regional State Hospital by ambulance, but the little girl could not be saved.
It was learned that S.Ö., who sustained minor injuries, has been discharged.
The proceedings for M.Ö., who was taken into custody, are ongoing at the Kulu District Police Department.
