The incident occurred last Friday evening at a wedding hall located in the central Meram district and was captured by the wedding hall's security camera.

According to the information obtained, 8-year-old M.H.D., who was among those attending the wedding, left his relatives and entered the hall.

While another child who was following the young boy was running after him, two people, stated to be his father and mother, also arrived at the door of the hall. The father, R.D. (36), suddenly lifted the young child, who had been brought over by the other child, into the air and threw him to the ground.

At that moment, a woman who came out from inside also reacted by trying to pull the angry man away from the child. These moments were reflected on the wedding hall's security camera. Following the emergence of the footage, police teams took action and detained the father, R.D. It was stated that the individual's processing at the police station is ongoing and he will be referred to the courthouse.
