He shot his wife while she was waiting at the bus stop
In Şanlıurfa, a man shot and critically wounded his wife, who is in the process of divorcing him, after encountering her at a bus stop.
According to the information obtained, the incident took place on Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Boulevard in the Paşabağı neighborhood of the Haliliye district.
It is alleged that E.D. (60), who is in the process of divorce, and her husband A.D. (67) encountered each other at the bus stop.
During the argument that broke out between the two, A.D. opened fire on his wife with a gun he was carrying.
Those who saw the woman collapse to the ground reported the situation to the police and medical teams.
The medical teams that arrived at the scene provided the first intervention to the woman before transporting her to the hospital by ambulance.
The individual was taken into custody by police teams.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
