He stabbed his mother and strangled her to death with a cane
In the Tufanbeyli district of Adana, a man stabbed his mother, whom he claimed had insulted his wife, and then strangled her to death with a cane.
According to the information obtained, the incident took place in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood of the district. It is alleged that Haceli A. (45) argued with his mother, Nimet Araz (75), on the grounds that she had insulted his wife. The argument quickly turned into a fight. In a fit of rage, Haceli A. stabbed his mother.

After the knife broke, the individual strangled his wounded mother to death with a cane, then called 112 to report that he had killed his mother.

While medical teams arriving at the scene determined that the woman had died, the police took the suspect into custody. The elderly woman's body was taken to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy. It was learned that the suspect, who works as a farmer, has 2 children.
