Identities of Polish tourists who lost their lives in a car fire in Antalya have been revealed
The identities of the Polish tourists who lost their lives in a car that burst into flames after hitting a median and overturning in the Alanya district of Antalya have been revealed.
The accident occurred in the evening hours in the Aydap area of the Yeşilöz neighborhood. The vehicle with license plate 07 BHY 934, carrying the Polish tourists, first hit the median and overturned, then became engulfed in flames.
The driver and the female passenger beside him, who were unable to exit the vehicle, died after being tragically burned. While the fire was extinguished by fire crews, the vehicle was reduced to ashes.

The identities of the Polish tourists who lost their lives in the accident have also been determined. It was learned that the vehicle was being driven by Zbigniew Piotr Kurzepa (59), and the passenger beside him was identified as Magdalena Maria Kulik (47).

On the other hand, it was learned that after the vehicle overturned, it landed on its wheels, and nearby citizens who witnessed the accident rushed to help. It was reported that a large explosion occurred the moment the tourists opened the door to exit the vehicle, causing it to burst into flames. While the elderly driver, whose upper body was partially outside, went into shock from the force of the explosion, it was learned that the citizens who went to help could not approach the vehicle due to the flames.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
