It has been revealed that the body found by villagers in a water well in Zonguldak belongs to 17-year-old Hasret Akkuzu, who had been missing for 10 days. While the murder suspect was apprehended in Aydın, 6 suspects in custody have been referred to the courthouse.

According to the information obtained, a woman's body was found in a 4-meter-deep well by villagers who had come to the land to graze their animals in the village of Koramanlar, located in the Perşembe town of Çaycuma district.

Upon the notification, the body was taken to the morgue for an autopsy by the teams that arrived at the scene. The family was called to Çaycuma State Hospital on the possibility that the body might belong to 17-year-old Hasret Akkuzu, who had been missing since October 12. The family identified the body as their daughter.

Akkuzu's body was sent to the Ankara Forensic Medicine Institute to investigate the exact cause of death.

MURDER SUSPECT APPREHENDED IN AYDIN

It was learned that the exact cause of Akkuzu's death will be determined in accordance with the report to be prepared by the Forensic Medicine Institute.

Within the scope of the investigation initiated by the Çaycuma Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 6 suspects were referred to the courthouse. D.B., who is alleged to be the perpetrator of the incident and is known to be a prison escapee, was also caught and taken into custody in Aydın. It was learned that D.B. will be brought to Zonguldak.

Hasret Akkuzu's funeral is expected to be buried in her village following the autopsy procedures.
