Individual detained for hanging banner on bridge to protest NATO
In Adana, an individual hung a banner on a bridge junction to protest NATO. The person, spotted by police teams on patrol, was detained because hanging banners is prohibited by a governor's office decree.
The incident occurred at the Celal Bayar Bridge Junction in the central Seyhan district.
According to allegations, an individual identified as M.O. hung a banner on the bridge to protest NATO.
At that moment, teams from the Seyhan District Police Department, who were conducting patrols in the area, noticed the individual hanging the banner.
Due to a governor's office decree prohibiting the hanging of banners on bridges and similar areas, police teams detained M.O.
Following the incident, the banner hung on the bridge was also removed by the teams.
The detained individual, M.O., was handed over to the Security Branch Directorate teams for processing and taken to the police station. It was learned that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
