Individual who harassed a young woman on a minibus has been caught

According to the information obtained, the incident occurred on Monday, April 7, on a minibus traveling along the Sincan-AŞTİ route. Following footage shared on social media, teams from the Sincan District Police Department, affiliated with the Ankara Police Department, launched an investigation to apprehend the individual accused of harassing a woman. Investigations revealed that the person, identified as H.Ü., first looked at the young woman traveling on the minibus in an unsettling manner and then harassed her by showing her his phone number. The suspect, H.Ü., was apprehended by police teams at his address in the Etimesgut district and taken into custody.

It was learned that a background check on the suspect, H.Ü., revealed multiple criminal records, including sexual harassment. The suspect is expected to be referred to the courthouse following the completion of procedures at the police station.
