Individual who took village headman's gun commits suicide
In Giresun, an individual who took a gun from a neighborhood headman's desk drawer and held it to his head committed suicide after saying, "Forgive me."
According to the information received, Erkan Korkmaz (35), who worked at a business on Suat Akgün Street in the Hacımiktat neighborhood, went to the shop of the neighborhood headman, who was a neighbor to his workplace, and took the gun from the desk drawer without being noticed.
The individual then went to his own workplace and held the gun to his head.

Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. In the examination conducted by the teams, it was determined that the individual had lost his life.
Crime scene investigation teams conducted an examination at the workplace. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
