Following warnings from the Meteorological Service, heavy rainfall became effective in Izmir. The Meteorological Service had issued the heavy rain warning by providing specific dates and times. Warnings regarding the flood in Izmir had been issued.

A coffeehouse, the exact district and location of which is unknown, was flooded. Those playing okey in the coffeehouse did not pay any mind to the flood.
