Journalist İsmail Beşikçi hospitalized
Renowned journalist and author İsmail Beşikçi suddenly fell ill while giving a speech at a film and documentary festival he was attending.
Immediately after the incident, festival officials and those nearby notified the 112 Emergency Service teams.
The 112 Emergency Service team that arrived at the scene provided initial intervention before transferring author Beşikçi to the Dicle University Faculty of Medicine Hospital for more comprehensive examination and treatment.
While no detailed statement has been made yet regarding Beşikçi's health status, he has been placed under observation at the hospital.
