Knife fight between bus drivers
A dispute between two drivers working for a bus company traveling from Ankara to Izmir turned into a knife fight at the Kavacık neighborhood junction in the Kula district of Manisa. One person was slightly injured in the incident.
According to the information obtained, a dispute broke out for an as-yet-undetermined reason between bus drivers B.Ç. and A.İ. at around 22:00, while the bus was in transit and had pulled over to the side of the road at the Kavacık neighborhood junction.
When the argument escalated into a scuffle in a short time, A.İ. wounded his colleague B.Ç. with a knife. Upon notification, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.
The slightly injured B.Ç. was taken to Kula State Hospital for treatment. It was learned that the injured person's life is not in danger.
The suspect A.İ. was apprehended at the scene by gendarmerie teams and taken to the district gendarmerie station. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
