Knocked unconscious with a single punch, caused a brain hemorrhage
In Adana, a man punched 24-year-old Umut Ayyıldız during an argument at a gas station, causing him to suffer a brain hemorrhage. While the attacker and his friend were arrested following the incident, which was captured on camera, Ayyıldız remains under treatment in the hospital.
The incident occurred the other day at a gas station located on Girne Boulevard in the Özgür neighborhood of the Yüreğir district. According to allegations, individuals named Serdar D. (24) and Enes G. (22) argued with Umut Ayyıldız (24) at the gas station for an unknown reason.
As the argument escalated, one of the individuals punched Ayyıldız in the head. While Ayyıldız fell to the ground and lost consciousness, Serdar D. and Enes G. fled on a motorcycle. During all of this, it was noted that an employee working at the gas station watched the events unfold as if watching a movie. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area.

Medical teams determined that Ayyıldız had suffered a brain hemorrhage and transported him to the hospital, while the motorcycle-riding attackers were apprehended by police teams in the Sarıçam neighborhood. After their statements were taken, the attackers were arrested by the duty magistrate and sent to prison. It was learned that Ayyıldız's treatment continues in the intensive care unit of the hospital where he was taken.
