'Lemon' code used for prostitution uncovered
In a prostitution operation carried out by police teams in the Nazilli district of Aydın, it was determined that the suspects used the code word 'lemon' to avoid detection, and the 4 individuals taken into custody were arrested by the judicial authorities to whom they were referred.
Teams from the Nazilli District Police Department's Public Security Bureau continue their efforts without interruption against those who encourage, mediate, or provide premises for prostitution.
According to the information obtained, police teams, who discovered that the suspects used multiple phone lines to avoid detection and that their code word was 'lemon', pressed the button for the operation during the night.
In the operation carried out at 7 different addresses with 12 teams, 3 women who were forced into prostitution were rescued, while 4 suspects named M.G., M.C., A.S., and M.T. were apprehended.
Following their procedures at the police station, the suspects were referred to judicial authorities, where they were arrested and sent to prison.
