Lightning strikes Istanbul-Bodrum flight
A Pegasus Airlines flight traveling from Istanbul to Bodrum was struck by lightning. The aircraft landed without incident.
A Pegasus Airlines flight, which was struck by lightning while operating the Sabiha Gökçen-Bodrum route, landed without incident.
According to information obtained, the Pegasus flight that departed from Sabiha Gökçen Airport bound for Bodrum landed at Dalaman Airport due to adverse weather conditions.
After weather conditions improved, the aircraft took off to complete its flight to Bodrum. Shortly after takeoff, the aircraft was struck by lightning.
No issues were found during the technical inspection of the aircraft, which landed safely at Bodrum-Milas Airport.
