Lost his life while on vacation with his fiancée

The tragic incident occurred at the pool of a residential complex located on 267th Street in the Yalı neighborhood. According to the information obtained, Alihan Güldal (24), overwhelmed by the hot weather, dove headfirst into the pool. The young man, who remained motionless immediately after the dive, was noticed by those nearby and pulled from the water. Upon notification, medical teams arrived at the scene and determined during their initial intervention that Güldal had broken his neck. The unfortunate young man was first taken to Karasu State Hospital and then transferred to Sakarya Training and Research Hospital. However, despite all interventions, he lost his life.

HE HAD COME ON VACATION WITH HIS FIANCÉE

It was learned that the late Alihan Güldal had recently become engaged and had come to Karasu for a 3-day vacation with his fiancée. The young couple's vacation, filled with happiness, ended with this horrific accident. The sudden death of the 24-year-old football player left his family and loved ones in mourning.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE FROM THE CLUB

It was stated that Alihan Güldal, who played for various teams in amateur leagues, had re-signed for the 2025-26 season with the 1st Amateur League team Beykoz Gümüşsuyu Sports Club, where he grew up in the youth academy. The club published a condolence message following the young player's passing.

The message stated, "We have lost our player and brother, Ali Güldal, who grew up in our youth academy and was going to continue his journey with us this year, in a tragic accident. We wish God's mercy upon him and offer our condolences to his grieving family and loved ones."
