Luxury vehicle rented for CHP MP İlgezdi involved in accident, driver found to be intoxicated
A luxury vehicle rented for CHP Istanbul MP Gamze Akkuş İlgezdi was involved in an accident in Ataşehir. The driver was found to have a blood alcohol level of 1.96 promille, and the car was towed to a parking lot.
The accident occurred last night on Kayışdağı Kümesi Street in the Kayışdağı neighborhood of Ataşehir.
According to allegations, the luxury car with license plate 34 EUZ 021, driven by E.O.K., lost control while traveling on Kayışdağı Avenue and crashed into a wall.
REMOVED LICENSE PLATES AND LEFT THE SCENE
Following the accident, the driver removed the car's license plates and left the scene. Police teams were dispatched to the area upon reports from citizens. Investigations revealed that the luxury vehicle had been rented for CHP MP Gamze Akkuş İlgezdi.

While the teams were conducting their investigation at the scene, an individual claiming to be the driver approached the police and explained the situation. The police administered a breathalyzer test to the driver. The test results showed that the driver had a blood alcohol level of 1.96 promille. The driver was taken into custody, and the vehicle involved in the accident was towed to a parking lot.
