The incident occurred around 16:00 on Elmabahçe Street in the Sille Ak neighborhood of the central Selçuklu district.

According to the information obtained, İbrahim Urgun (58), who lived in a 2-story building on the street, shot Nazmiye Urgun (52) with a shotgun found in the house after an argument with his wife.

İbrahim Urgun then committed suicide with the same weapon.

Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.

Initial examinations by health teams at the scene determined that the couple had lost their lives.

Following the investigation by police teams, the couple's bodies were taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
