Man stabs girlfriend 10 times before committing suicide
In Adana, a young woman was killed after being stabbed 10 times by her boyfriend at home. The suspect committed suicide by jumping from the 12th floor after the murder.
The incident occurred at a residential complex in the Huzurevleri neighborhood of the Çukurova district. According to allegations, 31-year-old Engin Yüce, who was reportedly suffering from psychological issues, began arguing for an unknown reason with his girlfriend, 23-year-old Şevval Çiftçi, whom he had met at his home.
As the argument escalated into a fight, Yüce attacked Çiftçi with a knife he took from the kitchen. The young woman, who sustained 10 stab wounds to various parts of her body, lost her life.
Following the murder, Yüce left behind a 6-page letter and threw himself from the 12th-floor apartment. The individual, who fell to the concrete ground, died at the scene.

Upon hearing the noise coming from the apartment, local residents notified the police and medical teams. The teams that arrived at the scene determined that both individuals had lost their lives.
The bodies of Engin Yüce and Şevval Çiftçi were taken to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsies.
The police have launched a multi-faceted investigation into the incident.
