Meetings and demonstrations banned for 7 days in Tunceli
The Tunceli Governor's Office announced that meetings and demonstrations have been banned across the province for 7 days.
The statement issued by the Governor's Office included the following:
"Within the framework of the provisions of the aforementioned law, except for events deemed appropriate by the Governor's Office and the District Governor's Office, all actions and activities such as press statements, meetings and demonstration marches, rallies, open-air meetings, protest actions, sit-ins, commemorations, hunger strikes, setting up stands, signature campaigns, concerts, festivals, distributing flyers and brochures, hanging banners and posters, lighting and carrying torches, cinevision screenings, etc., in public areas such as squares, streets, avenues, roads, and parks within the borders of Tunceli have been banned for a period of 7 days until 23:59 on June 10."
