One person lost their life and 10 people were injured in an accident that occurred as a result of a collision between a passenger minibus and a car on the Bursa-Keles highway.
The accident took place at around 16:30 at the 13th kilometer of the highway. According to the information obtained, the passenger minibus with license plate 16 ASZ 063, driven by I.C. (49) and traveling from Bursa towards Keles, collided with the car with license plate 16 RM 668, driven by B.A. (47), which was coming from the opposite direction.
In the collision, 80-year-old Aliye Asa, who was a passenger in the car, lost her life at the scene. The drivers of the minibus and the car, as well as M.Ö. (49), A.A. (41), H.P. (62), Y.A. (18), Ş.S. (74), Ş.N.S. (13), R.S. (14), and S.S. (15) who were in the vehicles, were injured.
The injured were taken to the hospital for treatment after the initial intervention by medical teams dispatched to the area. It was stated that the condition of the injured is mild.
Following the accident, security measures were taken in the area, and an investigation into the incident has been initiated.
