Missile warhead washed ashore in Çatalca destroyed
A missile warhead drifting in the sea washed ashore in Yalıköy, Çatalca. The piece, which was found to have no explosive properties, was destroyed by gendarmerie teams.
The incident occurred around 17:00 in the Yalıköy neighborhood of Çatalca district.
According to reports, a warhead belonging to a missile drifting in the sea washed up on the beach.

Upon notification by citizens, gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the beach.
Following an examination, it was determined that the missile warhead had no explosive properties. The warhead was destroyed by gendarmerie teams.
