Missing girl found in Diyarbakır
The 12-year-old girl who went missing in Diyarbakır has been found following intensive efforts.
After Ecrin Erim, who left her home in the central Bağlar district at noon, could not be reached, her family filed a missing person report with the police.

A search operation was launched to locate Erim.
The Diyarbakır Governor's Office announced that 12-year-old Ecrin Erim, who had not been heard from after sending a message to her mother saying, "I am going to look for my father," has been found.
In the statement made by the Governor's Office, it was stated, "Following a missing person report filed by her mother with our security units after 12-year-old Ecrin E., who left her home in the Bağlar district of our province at noon on December 18, 2024, could not be reached since that time.
As a result of the meticulous work carried out by the special team established by our Diyarbakır Police Department, which also utilized technical resources, the missing child has been found safe and sound."
