Mother also arrested in child abuse case
In the case of sexual abuse of a girl in the Amasra district of Bartın, where a total of 33 people, including 9 children, were arrested, the victim's mother has also been arrested and sent to prison.
Following a report made on April 18 in Bartın, a comprehensive and multi-faceted investigation was launched by the Bartın Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. In line with digital evidence obtained during the investigation, strong suspicion of a crime was reached regarding the victim child being abused by certain individuals with whom she had communicated via social media.
Within the scope of the investigation, an indictment was prepared on May 8 against 10 children considered to have been dragged into crime and 26 suspects, and the trial process was initiated after being accepted by the Bartın 2nd High Criminal Court.
Within the scope of the file, a total of 33 people, including 9 children dragged into crime and 24 suspects, were arrested, while judicial control measures were applied to 3 people.
It has been learned that the victim girl's mother, T.Ö., was also arrested in the case file for the crimes of "violating family obligations, and concealing and destroying evidence of a crime."
