A person was injured as a result of a collision between a motorcycle and a car in the Sapanca district of Sakarya. The accident occurred on Şehit Cevdet Koç Street in the Kırkpınar Tepebaşı neighborhood.
According to the information obtained, the motorcycle with license plate 54 AIJ 072, driven by T.Ç. and traveling in the direction of İzmit, collided with the car with license plate 34 NRU 911, driven by M.Y., which was coming from the opposite direction and attempting to make a turn. The motorcycle driver, who was thrown to the ground by the impact of the collision, was injured.
Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the area. The injured driver was taken to Sapanca District State Hospital by medical teams. Following initial intervention there, the driver was transferred to Sakarya Sadıka Sabancı State Hospital.
It was stated that the accident was captured by a nearby business's security camera. The footage shows the collision between the car making a left turn and the motorcycle, and the driver being thrown onto the road.
