Municipal bus overturns in Ankara

The accident occurred around noon on Bağcı Street in the Keçiören district. According to the information received, the EGO bus driver, M.K., noticed a minor traffic accident involving three vehicles ahead of him too late, applied the brakes suddenly, and maneuvered toward the sidewalk on the side of the road.

The Man-brand bus lost control, skidded, and overturned. Upon notification by those nearby, fire, medical, and police teams were dispatched to the area.

Five passengers who were slightly injured in the accident were transported to the hospital after receiving initial intervention from medical teams.

An investigation into the accident has been launched.

WITNESS DESCRIBES THE MOMENTS OF THE ACCIDENT

A person who witnessed the accident said, "The driver made a sudden braking maneuver to avoid hitting the vehicles. It tipped over due to the impact."

In Keçiören, an EGO bus lost control and overturned after the driver maneuvered to avoid an accident. Five passengers were slightly injured in the incident.

Eren Tosun, one of the witnesses who spoke about the accident, stated, "There were vehicles coming down, and the weather was rainy. When one of the vehicles braked suddenly, they all crashed into each other. Then the bus was coming.

He made a sudden braking maneuver to avoid hitting the vehicles. It tipped over due to the impact. People around immediately ran to the scene of the accident. Police and medical teams arrived and intervened," he said.
