Municipal police officer assaulted by market vendor
A municipal police officer on duty at a marketplace in Edirne was assaulted by a vendor following an argument.
An argument broke out between a municipal police officer working at the Edirne Binevler Covered Marketplace and several individuals identified as market vendors. According to allegations, the argument quickly escalated into a physical altercation.
The municipal police officer, identified as Erdal D., was injured in the scuffle and transported to the hospital by medical teams. Examinations at the hospital revealed that Erdal D. had suffered fractures to his nose and he was taken into surgery.

Following an investigation at the scene, police teams detained the individuals suspected of being involved in the assault. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
