New development regarding teacher who sexually abused students
A new development regarding the foreign national teacher who was detained on allegations of sexually abusing students at a private school in Çekmeköy.
Provincial Security Directorate teams launched an investigation following social media posts alleging that students were sexually abused by a foreign national teacher at a private school in Çekmeköy.
The teams apprehended the suspect, identified as B.G., based on the statements of the complainants. It was determined that the suspect had an active residence permit until November 3, 2024, but did not possess a work permit.
ADMINISTRATIVE ACTION INITIATED AGAINST THE SCHOOL
Following the procedures at the police station, B.G. was referred to judicial authorities on charges of "child sexual abuse" and was subsequently arrested.
Judicial and administrative proceedings have also been initiated against the school for "failure to report a crime" and "employing illegal workers."
