New development regarding the father who made his daughter dance on TikTok
A man named Ömer Ç., living in the Erzin district of Hatay, made his young daughter dance during a live broadcast on TikTok. The father, who is alleged to have been trying to earn money from the broadcast, caused an uproar on social media.
Ömer Ç. tried to earn money by making his daughter dance on a TikTok live stream. While the child was taken under protection by the ministry, the TikToker father was arrested.
Some users who joined the live stream criticized the situation, saying, "Are you a father?" and "How can you use your daughter like this?" Following the spread of the footage, the Ministry of Family and Social Services and police units took action.
While the individual was taken into custody, the child was placed under protection.
Ömer Ç. was arrested on charges of "encouraging children to engage in prostitution."
