Occupancy rates for Istanbul's dams have been announced!
According to ISKI data, the occupancy rate of the dams supplying water to Istanbul has reached 82.57 percent. The average occupancy rate of the dams in the mega-city was measured at 82.71 percent yesterday.
According to the Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (ISKI) data, the average occupancy rate of the dams in the mega-city has reached 82.83 percent.
Across the country, drought and precipitation levels below seasonal norms last year brought the dams supporting Istanbul to the point of drying up, with the occupancy rate falling as low as 16.18 percent on November 11, 2023.
The occupancy rate in the dams has risen to 82.57 percent. The highest water level in the dams was recorded at the Ömerli Dam with 93.14 percent, while the lowest water level was at the Istrancalar Dam with 39.39 percent.
According to ISKI data, as of May 15, the dam occupancy rates in Istanbul are as follows:

Büyükçekmece Dam 76.97 percent
Darlık Dam 80.32 percent
Istrancalar Dam 39.39 percent
Kazandere Dam 82.71 percent
