Over 9.5 million TL in fines for 26 chicken doner shops
In inspections conducted on businesses selling chicken doner in Amasya, administrative fines totaling 9 million 679 thousand 131 TL were imposed on 26 food establishments due to identified irregularities.
In a statement made by the Amasya Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, it was reported that official controls and inspections regarding chicken doner products were meticulously carried out by food control officers at businesses serving chicken doner.
Sharing the inspection data for the first 4 months of 2025 in the province, where 4 thousand 18 businesses operate, the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry stated, "2 thousand 409 inspections were carried out, 155 samples were taken during these inspections, and administrative fines of 9 million 679 thousand 131 TL were imposed on 26 food establishments due to the irregularities detected."
While it was stated that official controls would continue throughout the year, it was emphasized that citizens could report any complaints or tips via the Alo 174 Food Hotline.
