Passenger detained for smoking in airplane lavatory
A passenger who smoked in the lavatory of a plane flying from İzmir to Ankara caused a disturbance on board. The individual, who ignored warnings, attacked the cabin crew. The passenger was taken into custody as soon as the plane landed in Ankara.
The Ajet Airlines aircraft with tail registration TC-JFT took off from İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport at 18:00 for its flight to Ankara Esenboğa.
SMOKED IN THE LAVATORY
During the plane's descent to Esenboğa Airport, it was determined that one of the passengers was smoking in the lavatory. Despite the cabin crew warning the passenger, the individual did not comply. The situation was then reported to the pilot. The pilot contacted air traffic control and requested police presence at the parking position.
ATTACKED CABIN CREW
Meanwhile, it was alleged that the passenger attacked the cabin crew and other passengers who tried to warn them. The plane landed safely at Ankara Esenboğa Airport at 19:05, and the passenger was taken into custody by the police.
