In the Fatsa district of Ordu, a collision between a passenger minibus and a truck resulted in 1 death and 23 injuries, 18 of whom were students.
The accident occurred around 17:00 on the Fatsa-Kumru-Korgan highway in the Ayazlı neighborhood. It was reported that the truck with license plate 52 TA 523, driven by M.A.Ö., crossed into the opposite lane after the driver lost control of the steering.
The passenger minibus with license plate 52 M 2557, driven by H.İ.A., collided with the truck that had stopped on the road. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
63-year-old Ş.S., who was a passenger in the minibus, lost his life. The injured, including the drivers, were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulances after receiving initial medical intervention at the scene.
It was learned that the injured individuals under treatment are in good condition. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
