Police minibus and car collide
A traffic accident involving a police minibus and a car in Konya has left 1 person dead and 11 others injured, including 7 police officers.
The accident occurred around 19:00 at the 10th kilometer of the Konya-Karapınar road. According to the information obtained, the minibus belonging to the Provincial Police Department, with license plate 42 BZ 693, collided with a car with license plate 07 BPR 219, driven by Fahri A., which was traveling from the opposite direction, as the minibus attempted to make a turn at an intersection.
Upon the notification of other drivers who saw the vehicles spinning due to the impact of the collision, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. In the initial intervention by the health teams, it was determined that 73-year-old Sebahat Filiz, who was a passenger in the car, had lost her life.

The 4 people in the car and the 7 police officers in the minibus were taken to hospitals in the city center after initial interventions.
Following the investigation at the scene, the body of Sebahat Filiz, who lost her life in the accident, was taken to the morgue for an autopsy.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
