Police officer found shot in his home in Tunceli

33-year-old police officer Gülbeddin P., who was serving in the Nazımiye district of Tunceli, was found shot in his home. The police officer, who was transported to the hospital in critical condition, lost his life despite all interventions.

According to the information obtained, after a gunshot was heard from the home of Gülbeddin P., who had been serving in Nazımiye for approximately 4 years, police and 112 Emergency Health teams were notified.

The teams that arrived at the house found the police officer wounded. Gülbeddin P., who received his first intervention at the scene, was taken to Tunceli State Hospital by helicopter.

The police officer, who was taken under treatment at the hospital, could not be saved despite all interventions. While the possibility of suicide is being investigated in connection with the incident, an investigation has been launched.
