Private jet belonging to Saudi Arabia crashes in Bayburt
A private jet, reported to belong to Saudi Arabia, has crashed in Bayburt for reasons yet to be determined.
Numerous search and rescue and medical teams, primarily from AFAD, have been dispatched to the region from Bayburt and Erzurum for the jet, which is alleged to have crashed into a creek bed in the Ballıkaya area.
STATEMENT FROM THE BAYBURT GOVERNOR'S OFFICE
The Bayburt Governor's Office announced that a private jet crashed on the border line of Bayburt-Rize-Erzurum and that search and rescue operations are ongoing.
In the statement made by the Bayburt Governor's Office, it was stated, "Following a report received by our 112 Emergency Call Center, information was obtained that a private jet with the registration number TCRTO crashed on the Bayburt-Rize-Erzurum border line for an unknown reason. AFAD, police, gendarmerie, 112, UMKE, and relevant teams have been dispatched to the scene. Search and rescue operations are continuing intensively. Developments will be shared with the public."
