Private school owner shoots and wounds administrative affairs manager
In Istanbul's Sarıyer district, a private school owner shot and wounded the school's administrative affairs manager following an argument over a financial dispute. The school owner, who fled the scene, was apprehended and taken into custody by police teams.
The incident occurred at around 18:30 at a private school located in Yeniköy, Sarıyer. According to the information obtained, an argument broke out between the private school owner, Can O. (59), and the school's Administrative Affairs Manager, Gülcan K. (36), due to a financial dispute.
During the escalating argument, the school owner, Can O., shot the administrative affairs manager, Gülcan K.
Gülcan K., who was wounded in the ear and hand, called for help. Can O. fled the scene.
Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
Medical teams transported the wounded woman to the hospital after providing initial intervention. Following an investigation at the scene, police teams launched an operation to capture the attacker.
The fleeing suspect was apprehended in a short time by the Sarıyer Public Security Bureau teams and taken into custody. Police teams are continuing their investigation into the incident.
Meanwhile, it was learned that the victim, who is continuing her treatment at the hospital, is not in life-threatening condition.
