Prosecutor who suffered a heart attack during a hearing has passed away
Public Prosecutor Ayhan Uyumaz has passed away after suffering a heart attack during a hearing in the Gebze district of Kocaeli.
According to the information obtained, 49-year-old Public Prosecutor Ayhan Uyumaz suddenly fell ill during a hearing at the Gebze Courthouse 1st High Criminal Court and collapsed.
Following a report, medical teams were dispatched to the courthouse. Uyumaz, who received initial intervention, had his heart, which had stopped, restarted through the efforts of the teams.
Public Prosecutor Uyumaz, who was taken to Gebze Fatih State Hospital by ambulance, could not be saved despite all interventions and passed away.
It was learned that a ceremony will be held for Uyumaz at the Gebze Courthouse tomorrow at 10:00, after which he will be laid to rest.
